All the rooms are air-conditioned, furnished in exotic Zanzibar style and offer views of the Indian Ocean and the gardens.

Accommodation is exclusive (no more than 30 GUESTS), with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and the gardens, which are home to a vast variety of birds and butterflies, before leading down to the beach where mangroves sprout out from the sea. ROOM AMENITIES: Mbweni offers 13 suites; each decorated in distinctive Zanzibari style, with Oriental rugs, four-poster beds, en-suite shower and mosquito nets. Room dcor: All are air-conditioned and furnished with the many cultural flavors that have influenced the Swahili Coast. The rooms are situated in a picturesque setting of 150 types of palm tree and a kaleidoscope of plant life. Most rooms have balconies with sea views and overlook the vibrant colors of frangipanis, hibiscus, oleander, and 650 other plant species which inhabit the landscape
The nature trails wind through the garden to places of relaxation, food and of historical interest. One route leads to the cliff top where the Sundowner Bar and Raintree Restaurant are situated, offering refreshing drinks, an excellent cuisine and impressive views of the garden and of the Indian Ocean. Other paths are a botanists dream with each type of plant listed on the way, and lead the way to the sandy beach fringed with Mangrove trees, swimming pool, and the historical Mbweni Ruins.
